This 100% handmade pink and green polymer clay dragon is ready for fun! She has a mane of green leaves around her neck and tail, a swirl of green and pink horns, and pink circle spikes (just because she wouldn't want to poke anyone with super spikey spikes).
Edit: Someone asked me what her dimensions were in the comments, so I decided to put them up here as well.
Height: 1 1/2 inches
Length: About 2 inches long (not including tail)
Width: About 1 inch (including wings)
Phew! After about 24+ hours (spread out in the time span of about 5 days) I'm finally done! *dies* At one point I was worried that I had messed her up, but her decorations saved me, ha ha! Although it's not perfect by any means, I'm quite proud of this piece. I learned a lot and I think it is my personal best. Word of advice for making dragons: Never put the feet/legs on before putting the belly on...and especially save the decorations for last-no matter how much you want to skip to the fun part. ;__;
Although this dragon has already been snatched up, feel free to check out Fat Cat Charms on Etsy for more by clicking on the bolded link below.
I actually looked at a lot of different tutorials to make this dragon and yes, DragonsandBeasties tutorial was one that I came across, but I did not follow it word for word, only for pieces of the construction of it. I did find how she made the wings very helpful as the way I had attempted to make them the first time just wasn't working. The size of the dragon just happened to come out that size, I wasn't modeling it after anything. I was actually just trying to conserve clay, ha ha! The design of the dragon, including the pose, was all created by me. I would definitely recommend DragonsandBeasties tutorial though and her art is absolutely awesome! (:
I didn't think it was that small. I thought it was 6 inches long by 5 inches tall by 3 inches in width. (not including the tail) THen the tail SEPERATE is 5-7 inches long. That is my image of it before I read the comment. And I've done dragons the hard way. Legs, arms, tail, and details FIRST. Trust me, I know how you feel doing that. Its PAINFULLY hard! I still love it through and though.
Thank you so much! She's a little smaller than the width of two fingers, and not including her tail she goes to about the second wrinkle/line in your index finger. She is about two knuckles high. In actual dimensions she is 1 1/2 inches high, about 2 inches long (not including tail), and just barely one inch in width.
